Sometimes we’re asked, “Why can’t I just email Road Services or post my concern on one of your social media channels?” You can contact us through email or social media channels, but they are not monitored 24/7, which can be a problem if you are reporting a potential safety issue that may require immediate attention. In addition, calling the 24/7 helpline enables our operators to ask you follow-up questions, which will better inform our road crews about the location and nature of the issue.
When you call the 24/7 helpline please have this information available:
- Your name.
- Your address and phone number. It’s important that you provide a contact number in case we need more information.
- The location of the problem, including the nearest cross street and/or address.
- A description of the problem.
- Any other important information that may need to be relayed to the crews about the area or the problem.
